We walk by without stopping.
We can describe how someone's brains got splattered over the road in gory detail without flinching.
We forget friendships and remember our egos.
We want promotions and hate those who get them.
We can put some thousand songs on a palm sized machine and not listen even if they are playing.
We say we are in love but still contribute to the growing number of divorces.
We say we will cherish someone forever but do not think twice before going to bed with someone else.
We say we love flowers but sulk if we do not get diamonds.
We want our children to be safe but let rapists go because of our burning need for human rights.
We can afford to buy that latest cell phone model but cannot give a rupee to a beggar because he should be working, not begging.
We write porn as then pass it off as alternative literature.
