So what if life is all smoke?
And all speech is snuffed out?
So what if God Himself does not like me?
And if we are parted?
So many troubles, so many floods
Time has given us enough tests
But this is a sign
Of your lips
Their corners
Turn up in a laugh
And I remain protected
Your eyes, hidden pain
I remain protected in your tears
I remain protected.
So what if there are reasonless reasons?
And no crime exists?
So what if your actions are naught but dust?
What if we are parted?
So many lengths
Time is such a painful healer
And still, the signs remain
Your eyes, hidden pain
I remain protected in your tears
I remain protected.
The pages of the ancients
Like memories
I am protected
In your eyes
In your memories
I am protected
In your words
In your arms
I was troubled
And time didn’t stand still
And still, the signs remain
Your eyes, hidden pain
I remain protected in your tears
Of your lips
Their corners
Turn up in a laugh
Your stoned heart
Protect me
My memories
My heart
My pain
My joy
Me.
I remain protected.

hmm... translations. "secure" sounds closer to mehfuz than "protected" no?
True--but 'protected' sounds a lot better in English than 'secure.'
:)

True. Can't argue with that. Thanks for humouring comment #1 :) *withdraws case*
I have a question for you though -- I am pretty sure I have disabled anonymous posts on my blog. How did you get around the system? Not in an accusatory tone by the way.
Eh? I chose anonymous, entered word verification, and it let me through after saying 'comment will show up after owner validates it'. At no point did I have to use a brain. Maybe you should recheck your settings, or maybe they just block robots via word verification.
Okay -- just checked my settings. Must have figured that if I have comment moderation on, I do not need to disable anonymous comments. :)
Do you have a blog too then?
