I am flying to New York City! I have to attend a seminar on Feminist Writing so apart from being obviously excited, I am also very nervous! NYU is an amazing place and I always think of it with fondness. I remember discovering a love for fine architecture and Formalist writing here. Really can't wait to discover more...
There was an Idiots Club back then, when I was there as an exchange student. All members had to prove their idiocy through speeches, actions. We always had fun at these meetings...we all let our hair down...we had these long, silly hats which we would put on during our activites...we ripped apart Shakespeare and Murakimi because idiots wouldn't understand such kind of literary writing...we cheered Dan when he finished Ullysses in a month's time. Sigh...really feels good to be returning to such a devil may care atmosphere.
